Thakadu River Camp is owned by the local community and has been developed through a partnership of the North West Parks Board, the Molatedi Village and the Madikwe Collection. The main area of the camp comprises an open plan lounge, dining and reception area, with the pool and bar area offering views of the river gully. Accommodation is in 12 tented suites which are incredibly spacious and have a sliding door that opens on to a private deck overlooking the river. Four of the suites are family units with an extra sleeper couch for children. Activities include Game Drives in open 4x4 vehicles.
