Hunters Country House *****

Hunters is a beautiful thatched "country house" type of hotel located close to the beautiful beaches of Plettenberg Bay making it an ideal choice for exploring the Garden Route. It is reminiscent of an English Country House with fine antique furniture and fine dining alike. However, they offer a warm welcome to families with children of all ages and have good facilities for them.

 

Accommodation consists of cottages which are all individually decorated, and have private patios leading out into the tranquil gardens. Some of the cottages can accommodate one or two children within the same room as the parents, whilst there are also some inter-leading cottages providing a more spacious option. Breakfast is served in the Conservatory while dinner is served in either the Dining Room in the main homestead or in the Summerhouse during the summer months.

  • Flexible accommodation available with some 2 bedroomed family cottages
  • Childrens area, known as “Cub’s Corner”, with paddling pool, sandpit, climbing frame and indoor games/play room
  • Swimming Pool
  • There is a children’s menu served in the Conservatory between 6.30 – 7pm or at Cub’s Corner. Room service is also available and dining in the Summerhouse during the summer months.
  • Babysitting is available – either in the rooms or in Cub’sCorner.
