Located on an immaculate stretch of beach on the east coast of the island, the Beau Rivage is a beautiful resort with colonial thatch style roofs and traditional Mauritian hospitality. The resort offers a wide choice of accommodation suitable for families and also a wide variety of sporting activities. Water skiing, windsurfing, pedalos, kayaks mini-sail, snorkelling and glass bottom boat trips are all offered free of charge, along with the gym, table tennis, floodlit tennis courts and mini-golf.


For additional cost, guests may enjoy scuba diving, big game fishing, massages, mountain bikes and pool tables. For dining there is a large choice of restaurants and bars available and at the end of each theme day, the hotel puts on an exclusive show paying tribute to the country’s cultural roots.

ESPECIALLY FOR FAMILIES
  • All suites are large enough to allow 2 children on a sofa bed. Inter-connecting suites are also available.
  • 12 new villas have just been completed which each have 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, as well as a living/dining room and a kitchen. In addition to this, each villa has its own heated swimming pool with wooden sun loungers, plus a thatched gazebo for a romantic dinner or for a massage!
  • The main hotel has a large swimming pool with shallow children’s areas and shelving entrance
  • The kids club, 'The Little Mermaid' is open from 9am–10pm and welcomes children aged 3–12 yrs. Younger children are welcome to join in provided that they are accompanied by a parent or babysitter. A wide variety of activities are on offer for the kids which are adapted according to the age and abilities of the children with them at a given time.
  • The Teens Club (12yrs & above) offers a whole range of activities including water-skiing, beach volleyball, activities in the pool or excursions out of the resort. Only open during school holidays.
