When To Go
South Africa
South Africa is a vast country – the size of France and Spain combined – and as such is split by two distinct weather patterns. Being in the Southern Hemisphere, however, South Africa’s seasons are the reverse of those in the UK with midwinter being in June and July and midsummer being in December and January.
Johannesburg and Sun City
Being further north, you will find very hot days between October – March, but this is also when the majority of the rain falls, with cooler, drier days between April – September.

Cape Town and the Garden Route
These areas enjoy a very Mediterranean type climate with warm, dry, sunny days from October – March, and cooler, wetter days between May – August.

Mauritius
Mauritius is pretty much an all year round destination, but with the majority of the rain falling between January – March, and the cooler months being from June – August, the best times to visit are probably between September – January and April – June.

The Seychelles
In the Seychelles temperatures vary little throughout the year staying between 24 - 31C. There are two main seasons. From May to October the islands enjoy refreshingly cool dry weather. November to April is the Indian summer with frequent short bursts of rain and high temperatures.

The Middle East
The Middle East is basically very hot and dry, but our winter months are definitely the best time to visit as it is their coolest time. The summer heat is very intense indeed.
